Nestle Purina Petcare

Nestle Purina engaged the Etech Group to assist with the practical implementation of an Odour Abatement Project for their site in Marton.

The project provided an opportunity for the Etech Group to utilise the capabilities of each group departments to provide a full service package from design, fabrication, to installation.

  • RMI worked with group partners, Etech Engineering Services (EES) and Etech NZ to complete the scope of work:

Etech Engineering Services (EES) provided engineering design and drafting services for the project, as well as the provision of 3rd party structural compliance.

RMI NZ Ltd assembled and installed the customer supplied Odour Abatement Technology, as well as fabricated and installed supplementary equipment such as access platforms, ducting supports and an MCC container.

Etech NZ Ltd completed the fabrication of all stainless-steel equipment. The stainless steel fabricated items included the ducting system, plenums and manifolds which were then tied into a new 30m exhaust stack.

  • Access to the site for installation of large pieces of equipment was limited and required the use of a 400T crane, provided by our crane and haulage partners at McIntosh Cranes.

Installation of the project utilised experienced site crews from both the RMI and Etech teams as well as capable plant and equipment such as our Merlo Telehandler.

  • Relevant Quality Assurance documentation such as Material Certifications, Welder Qualifications and Non Destructive Testing Reports were gathered throughout the project and collated by our in house Quality Assurance Administrator to provide a QA package compliant with our customers expectations.
